Amy Abdelsayed, MA

Amy Abdelsayed, MA is a masters level psychometrist and an integral part of the Center for NeuroWellness team. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Kean University, Amy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our mission. Amy’s educational background has equipped her with a diverse skill set that spans both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of psychological understanding. Amy recognizes the power of psychometric assessments as a bridge between science and the intricacies of the human experience, enabling a deeper comprehension of individual strengths and areas of growth.

Throughout her career, Amy has dedicated herself to working with diverse mental health populations, spanning adolescents, adults, and older adults. Her experience in residential facilities, therapeutic high schools, community health services, and behavioral health facilities has given her a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face on their journeys to healing.  By immersing herself in these varied environments, Amy has gained an empathetic understanding of the complexities that can arise at different stages of life and the tailored approaches required to address them effectively. Her experience has solidified her belief in the importance of personalized care, recognizing that every individual’s journey is distinct and deserving of unique attention.

When she’s not immersed in her work, Amy finds joy in various activities that nurture her well-being. From playing basketball and golfing to relishing walks on the beach and quality time with her family, Amy believes in the importance of balance and self-care.

Fun Fact: Amy’s affection for the NJ shore is so profound that she made it her home sweet home. Her journey to the Center for Neurowellness is fueled by a deep-rooted commitment to enhancing mental wellness for individuals from all walks of life.
