Anna Cain, LPC, Ph.D.

Dr. Anna Cain, LPC, Ph.D. (TP# #243-009) is a skilled provisional psychologist currently undergoing postdoctoral supervision under the guidance of Dr. Kristine Keane. Dr. Cain is also an independently licensed National Certified Counselor, bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to the Center for NeuroWellness. With extensive training and specialization in the assessment and psychological evaluation of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and a range of psychological disorders including Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, and Personality Disorders, Dr. Cain is dedicated to providing comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Dr. Cain’s proficiency extends to differentiating diagnoses for clinicians and patients alike, along with developing empirically validated treatment plans designed to address specific concerns effectively. Her background encompasses a diverse array of settings, from community mental health agencies to private practice, where she has delivered individual, group, and family therapy services. 
 
Prior to joining the Center for NeuroWellness team, Dr. Cain facilitated therapy sessions for clients on probation for sexual offenses and provided court-referred family services including reunification therapy, supervised visitation, co-parenting therapy, and parent trainings. Her collaborative approach with the court system and partnerships with probation, parole, and child protection agencies underscore her commitment to holistic care. In private practice, Dr. Cain has worked extensively with clients facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship issues, parenting concerns, and family stress. She employs evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy to empower her clients on their journey towards healing and growth. 
 
Dr. Cain holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgian Court University, as well as a Master of Science in Corrections and Offender Rehabilitation from the University of Cincinnati. She furthered her education with a Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University and earned her doctoral degree from Walden University with a research focus on parental alienation. 
 
At the Center for NeuroWellness, Dr. Cain continues to provide comprehensive psychological services including psychotherapy, ADHD, forensic, and psychological evaluations. She also offers supervision to therapists, licensees, and interns, ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients.
