Caroline Cohen, M.A., NCSP

Caroline Cohen is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and a doctoral candidate in School Psychology at Georgian Court University. With experience supporting children, teens, and their families, Caroline brings a warm, collaborative approach to her work—always meeting each individual where they are. She is passionate about psychological assessment and believes that the right diagnosis can open doors to meaningful, effective support. Caroline takes pride in making evaluation results clear and approachable, helping families understand their child’s unique strengths and challenges, and guiding them through the next steps with confidence.

Caroline has worked across several public school districts in New Jersey, serving as a key member of child study teams. She has extensive experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations, developing IEPs, providing counseling services, and leading social skills groups. She is especially knowledgeable in navigating school-based interventions and the New Jersey Special Education Code and regularly supports families through the IEP process—from initial evaluations to annual reviews.

Her clinical interests include ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, and behavioral challenges. She is also trained in functional behavioral assessments and executive functioning support, offering practical strategies to help students succeed both academically and emotionally.

Caroline earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude, and went on to complete both her master’s degree in School Psychology and her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study at Georgian Court University. She is an active member of the National Association of School Psychologists and has presented her research at national and university-level conferences.
