Edward “Ted” MacNish obtained his Master’s Degree and post Master’s Certificate in Clinical Counseling from Monmouth University’s accredited counseling program.  He is certified by the State of New Jersey as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Prior to joining the team at Shore Neuropsychology , Ted  was the clinical manager and supervisor of  a northern Ocean County outreach program for the past twenty years.

Ted has been working with families, couples and children for the past twenty five years with a range of diagnoses and difficulties .  He specializes in treating anxiety, depression, marital problems, adjusting to a divorce, parenting issues, family conflicts, stepfamily issues, and interpersonal struggles. Ted is committed to helping his clients reach their treatment goals and learn skills to cope with any life challenges.   He takes an eclectic approach, and provides cognitive behavioral, interpersonal and existential therapies to meet the unique needs of each of his clients.

Ted enjoys playing guitar, watching his favorite sports team and spending time with his friends and family.
