Kelsey Wetmore, LPC, LCADC

Kelsey Wetmore is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). With a steadfast commitment to mental health and well-being, Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgian Court University, which have laid a strong foundation for her career in helping others.

Kelsey brings extensive experience from a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient non-profit organizations and private practices. She has provided individual counseling to children, adolescents, and adults, and has supported couples and families. Her impressive career also includes significant roles in Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) for co-occurring disorders. Additionally, Kelsey’s previous work with New Jersey’s mobile response crisis stabilization services offered intensive in-community counseling to children and families in need.

Throughout her career, Kelsey has refined her therapeutic approach, which is rooted in person-centered, individualized care. She skillfully employs a range of empirically validated treatment modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Psychodynamic approaches, ensuring that each client receives personalized and effective support. Known for her ability to forge authentic connections with her clients, Kelsey creates a safe and nurturing environment where healing and personal growth can flourish. She passionately believes in the innate potential for positive change within every individual.

Kelsey specializes in substance abuse, ADHD, anxiety, and neurodiversity-affirmative strategies. Her dedication to her clients’ well-being and her unwavering belief in their capacity for transformation make her an invaluable asset to the Center for NeuroWellness.
