Sarah Fischbein is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has worked with a variety of populations and age groups. During her career, she has been working extensively with children and families.
Ms. Fischbein is trained in a range of evidence-based practices which include: TF-CBT (Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), TARGET (Trauma Affect Regulation: Guide for Education & Therapy), and ARC (Attachment Regulation Competency). Ms. Fischbein also utilizes motivational interviewing, the nurtured heart approach, and mindfulness when working with individuals.
Ms. Fischbein received a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Wagner College and continued her education at Monmouth University where she received a Masters of Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Practice with Families and Children. Ms. Fischbein is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Ms. Fischbein believes in the importance of establishing a strong therapeutic relationship with clients in order to facilitate positive change. She works collaboratively with clients to determine the most effective therapeutic approach for each individual. She creates a supportive environment for her clients to embrace the therapy process and is honest and sincere in her approach.
In Ms. Fischbein’s free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Ms. Fischbein spends her time attending concerts and local wrestling shows. Ms. Fischbein enjoys spending time outside at the pool or beach. Ms. Fischbein is an avid crafter and loves using her Cricut to express her creativity. Ms. Fischbein spends rainy days binge watching true crime shows.
Fun Fact: Ms. Fischbein does her own nails and has learned how to do nail art.
